Hi Guys,
Can you please assist on this?
TMS ver 13.1.2
Microsoft AD Windows Server 2008
I have tried a lot of combinations of settings. But failed to get TMS to import the domain user to the TMS.
FYI. TMS Server is joined into the domain.
This is for domain user to log in to the TMS software.
Appreciate it very much on the help.

What error message do you get?

Hi Paulo,
No error message. Manual synchronization of AD users show success. But no ad users is actually imported.
Thanks.

Friend,
The users are not imported to TMS automatically, the user is add to TMS database only when he attempt to log into TMS by the first time. So try to log in TMS with the user and see if that user is imported to TMS's user database.

Man,
When you attempt to log into TMS, do you get a message of "wrong username and password"?
If yes, can you put here your configuration of AD integration?

Hi Paulo,
Thanks again.
TMS does not show wrong username & password instead just prompting me to enter again the username & password.

Friend,
Go to Adminitrative Tools > User administration > Users and see if the user which you're attempting to log in appears in the list. If it appears, tell me what you see in "username" column.

Paulo,
The user is not appeared in the list.
Thanks.

Friend,
Are there some users in the list, right? Tell what do you see in the "username" column for that/those user(s).
Paulo Souza

Ok.
I saw Administrator only in the list.
Domain: ABC
Server: TMS
The user appeared is ABC-TMS/Administrator. (Local User)
02-14-2012 07:23 AM
Ok, that's right, The username really should be "domain/userID".
I suggest you to connect to TMS via RDP and then try to log by using the same user you was trying to get in the web interface. If it does not work, so we can come to conclusion that AD is not configured correctly to allow domain's user to log into TMS.

Hi Paulo,
I can use the exact same username to access TMS Servers. But failed in TMS Software.
Thanks.

Ok, I understood.
If you are able to get in the TMS by RDP, but you're not able to get in TMS by web interface. So, I think it's a problem on TMS's database syncronization. To have sure about that, you can to this:
Go to Windows TMS Server and create a user locally in the server. Then you try to log into TMS's web interface by using that user. If it does not work, so there's a problem of sycronnization in TMS's data base.
