Cisco VCS Hard drive and system software restore.

hi 

looking to get a Cisco VCS Server restored, the hard drive replaced by someone who should not have touched it. looking to get the original software that came with the unit. i believe that there is no support for these. so i am hoping i can be pointed in the right direction so i can restore the software. or get a hard drive with the software in it, will pay licensing  don't have a problem with that.

You'd have to contact TAC, see comments made in thread VCS Control Server booting issue.

thanks for the response, be advised that there is no TAC no Contacts of any kind. 

cannot get support without a contract. i have spent 3 days just trying to figure out how to talk to cisco. customer service reps that don't know what i am talking about. maybe you can point me in the right direction. sad i cannot even e-mail them. without a contract.

The VCS must be on a support contract for TAC to assist, you might be able to get help from your local Cisco Account Team. Depending on which generation the VCS is, you might be able to add it to a support contract, if it's the old black pizza box VCS, than that is EOL and no longer supported.
