Cisco Webex Desk Pro External Microphone

What microphone does Cisco recommend for the Desk Pro's?  We've tried using different 3rd party USB mic's but none of them mute the system, only the USB device.  We're trying to get a mic that when muted also mutes the system.

The USB microphone support for Desk and Room Series document lists a number of USB devices that have been tested.
The provided lists aren’t exhaustive; other USB audio devices may also work with your Room or Desk device.

When you say the mic mute mutes the mic, but you also want it to "mute the system" - what do you mean by that?   The mic mute is just a mic mute - it doesn't alter the volume of the audio output of the device, only the audio going in to it.  Are you wanting to push one button to mute both the incoming and outcoming audio simultaneously?  If so, you'd probably be best implementing a macro to do that.

Wayne,

With some of our customers, they are using the Desk Pro as conference room style device instead of just using a Room Kit mini or Room Kit.  With the current set up, using a external mic, when the customer mutes the external mic the "mute mic" on the Desk Pro stays active and only the external mic is muted.  Now the Desk Pro built in mic is still picking up audio because only the external mic is muted.  We were looking for a solution like how the SX-10/20/EX series works with the cisco table mic.  When you mute any of the 2 mic's (sx-20) both mics and the system will mute.  Maybe that's not a anymore but even with the EX-90, if you used an cisco table microphone and muted that, it also muted the internal mic.  Now our larger rooms we use Room Kit Pro's and SX-80's but we have those all connected to separated DSP/Mic mixers to handle the audio.  Just trying to find a solution like how the SX-10/20 and EX-60/90's worked with external mics.  I'll check on the Macro's aswell
