Codec pro no audio

Hi all.

Currently experiencing and issue where i rando lost audio to speakers in the room from a codec pro.

The connection runs from codec to amp using line 1/2 using a rca to 3.5mm jack cable with the jack cut off and terminated using a pheonix connector.

Amp was tested on its own with the same rca to 3.5mm jack before getting it cut for the codec and still no in room audio. I can confirm that audio over hdmi plays on the far end as well as mics being heard.

 

But audio from the far end into the room.. no luck. We did a rma on the codec as it presented itseld to what i would rate as blown outputs but the rma unit is doing the same.

How have you configured the output that your connection to the amplifier on the Codec?   Is it enabled correctly?   Is the level set appropriately?

If you check the Audio Console on the Codec Pro, is the audio being correctly sent to the output you have connected?

I'd also check that you are running on a current release of the endpoint software to make sure that you're not getting affected by any older bugs.
