Continuous Presence on 8000 MSE

Hello,

I am trying to find out the limitations of continuous presence when 2 8510 blades are clustered together. Is it posisble to have 25 individual sites shown on a single screen layout? This will be on a video wall therefore screen size is a non-issue.

Also does it matter if some of the calls are coming in via a 8321 ISDN blade?

2 x 8510 clustering, MCU able to use any participant connection into layout display (not like limitation when "cascade" MCU).

However maximum sites display with CP mode is "20".

Layout 43: CP20 (5x4)
Layout 48: CP20 (4x5)

Therefore, while using single Endpoint, it can't display 25 sites on screen.

Please note, MCU support individual transcoding therefore if you use 2 Endpoint with two screen or external video compositor before main screen, you may have up to 40 sites on screen. (for example, Endpoint-1 on MCU select Layout 48-CP20 and select site 3-site 22 to be display and Endpoin-2 on MCU select Layout 48-CP20 and select site 23-site 42).

MCU will treat call via ISDN Gateway same as all other connection from H323/SIP Endpoint and display as "one" participant.
