Copying videos from a virtualized TCS server

Hi All,

I have a TCS server that was replaced since it was going offline.  The data is intact and the TCS was put on a virtual server. The videos on the server cannot be converted to a downloadable format since the license number is now invalid.

My question is the following.  Is there any way to copy the data to the new TCS server in order to save the videos? It must be said that the original server was returned.

Any info is appreciated,

Thanks.

Was this a RMA? Cisco has RMA procedure documents.

I am not sure if the "virutalization" and having it running might have added additional issues.

Anyhow, I can not garantee that this tip here will help or even damage data, so make snapshot / backup of your data.

Maybe this can help:

In any kind of trouble / doubts I would recomend escalating the case to TAC.

They can also provide you with a manual guide on how to copy the data from the e: drive.
