CTMS 303025_ALARM_CALL_FAILURE

Hi

Since we implemented the presentation codec in our two CTS1300. Often could the same endpoint not join a meeting on CTMS (version 1.8). The error on CTMS was:

"[13007 12/4/11 12:02:35.886 UTC CONFMGMT ERROR] ConfMgr::removeCall txnId:42 confId:3100226009 failed, reason is Bandwidth Negotiation Failed"

Direct Sessions without CTMS working perfectly.

Has anybody an idear?

The relation to the presentation codec is just a thought

Thx

Hello,

This error indicates a TIP negotiation failure. TIP is negotiated in the main video stream

Have you verified connectivity between the CTMS and the 1300?

You can log into the CLI of the CTMS and ping the 1300 with the command "utils network ping x.x.x.x" and trace route with "utils network traceroute x.x.x.x"

Another thing to check is that the region settings for video are not default. We recommend setting the video bandwidth between regions to 32000.

Thanks,

Paul
