CTS-SX20-PHD4X-K9 time and date issue

One of our client  has an issue with video conference system is not keeping the time.. always it returned the date to 2014 which cause issue with licensing key.

How can we solve this issue?

Is the SX20 registered to either CUCM or VCS using TMSPE?

If it's registered to CUCM, check the date time group that the SX20 is configured to use.

If it's registered to VCS using TMSPE, check the device template within TMS.

Check the NTP settings on the SX20, might be pointing to an incorrect NTP server.

You should be able to check the endpoint logs, it will show at minimum the IP of the remote system that is changing the date after you set it, which can help to figure out where the issue is.

Also check that a DNS server is correctly defined on the endpoint if you're using an NTP server such as 0.ntp.tandberg.com, us.pool.ntp.org, or another one using a name rather than an IP address, otherwise the unit will not be able to contact the NTP server.
