Customize camera menu

Hey

We use a Cisco EQ in RoomOS mode with a PTZ 4K and a Quadcam.

We use the Teams app for online meetings:

Within the Teams app there is a camera menu called "manual". I found a image online that looks like it:

Our users likes menu because you easily can choose between the PTZ 4K and Quadcam + PTZ controls + Camera position presets.

In this menu on our system, under Camera position presets, you can also choose the PresenterTrack function.

So you have a lot of options in one menu.

The users were asking if there could be added more functions manual menu, like Quadcam Speakertracking + mute button.

Look at this bad photoshop/MS paint example of what I mean

4.png

A mute button at the top and the 3 Quadcam tracking functions in bottom left.

Is it possible to add this to the MS Teams manual camera menu?

I did see something else on a Cisco website:

https://www.webex.com/us/en/solutions/camera-intelligence-cisco-devices.html

Here they have this picture:

It doesn't look like they have the Camera position presets add function.

Have any of you experience with more custom menus?

And do you have screen shots?

Best regards

Lars Hansen

Your exact UI mockup is not possible; the native camera control GUI cannot be customized. Quad Camera automatic tracking modes such as Speaker or Group are mutually exclusive to manual control and presets. Presenter (fka Presenter Track) and each pre-defined manual preset are now included in the list of modes next to Speaker, Group, Manual, etc. The camera control panel you’re referencing is only relevant to Manual now (and setting presets initially).

The last screenshot you included is an example of UI Extensions. What is shown is possible and you could add mute to it. Those are just the buttons though. You would need a JavaScript macro to execute the xAPI command(s) as each button is pressed.
