Does anyone know how to disable the Cisco tones on call start and end on the CTS systems. I have looked everywhere in CUCM and do not see any type of setting for it as well as performed the cursory searches via the web. When I am testing I get so tired of hearing the tones over and over again and the volume control setting doesn't seem to help.
Thanks for any ideas.

Hi Tom,
The tone at the end of the call can be enabled or disabled by the setting of "" in the configuration of the codec in CUCM. Documentation only talks about this setting controlling the ring at the end of the call and I am not aware of any setting controlling the call start tone.
Regards,
Antonio.

Thanks Antonio. Very Helpful I can't believe I overlooked that checkbox. In 2 years of configuring the CTS codecs, I have never noticed it. I guess becasue it is a bit smaller and not an actual configuraiton field like the others. Twenty test calls already this morning and it is wonderful silence to my ears not to hear the tones over and over again. Thanks a ton.
