Do the C40s allow for a remote snapshot in the Web Call Control?

Hi Guys,

This is something I have just noticed and I'm wondering if it is a limitation of the C40s, or if I am missing a configuration somewhere.

On a C90, when you navigate to the Call Control on the Web interface when a call is active, not only to you see the the local snap shot (if activated), on the Participant list you also see a snapshot of the remote participant. However, we have several C40s where this does not happen (which is actually very useful for remote diagnostics within a call).

Is this simply the case, or am I missing something?

Hi Chris

Far end snapshots are captured even if web snapshots are disallowed on the far end video
system. Web snapshots are prohibited only for encrypted calls.

Web snapshots of the remote incoming video are available for unencrypted call.

Hey Oleksandr,

Do you know what, sometime I even amaze myself at my stupidity!!!!

The number of time I switch Encryption methods, but on older CODEC - I should know better. Still many thanks for pointing out my folly. :)
