Does the SX20 or 80 support dual screen emulation

Hi,

Looking at replacing some Polycom HDX systems. With the HDX you can do dual screen emulation on a single screen. Is this supported on the SX range?

Thanks

George

Hi

Have you tried TC-Console? There you can have one monitor and divide the screen how you like. Once you have divided the monitor into how many screens you want then you can assign each screen an input, i.e input 1 (camera) on screen 1, main participant on screen2, local presentation on screen 3, input2 on screen 4 (secondary camera)  for example.

The possibilities are many. You can mix around with audio as well.

Please find the application here: http://software.cisco.com/download/release.html?mdfid=286271155&flowid=71282&softwareid=280886992&release=TC-console-v7.1.2&relind=AVAILABLE&rellifecycle=&reltype=latest

Selfview will show as a PIP, however if pc content is shown, you have a few different options regarding the layouts.  Attached is a screenshot of the layouts available when you send content.

Hi George,

It's emulating two screens on a single monitor.

Thanks

FYI

SX80 supports TC Console, but not SX20 because SX20 is a quick set system and SX80 is an integrator system.

Hi Magnus,

Thanks for the that. It would be a SX80 that I would be using for 50/50 side by side.

Hello George -

You can have the far-end video and either: selfview, pc content, or both (selfview and pc content) all on the same single screen.  Haven't found a document that shows the different layout options yet, if I do, I'll post it.

Hi Patrick,

I've been trying it on a SX20 and can only get it as PIP, also can't find any documentation. The Polycom's give you an option to do a 50/50 screen split. If you do find any documentation it would be appreciated.

Cheers

Hi Patrick,

Thanks for looking into this. It would be nice if Cisco would provide the equal view as a side by side instead of top and bottom as the screen I will be using is a 65" widescreen.

Cheers
