Hi Team,
Our customer has recently updated the Ciso Telepresence SX20 from version TC7.1.1 to version CE9.5.2.
They indicate us that now, when they are going to make a call, the "View dialing method" option does not appear.
This is due to the change of TC software to CE software?
What alternative does the client have?
Thanks & Best Regards,
JuanMi

I have just replicated the bahaviour in the latest CE9 releases, and can confirm that the option is only present on the web interface, and not on the Touch10 or via the remote.
You can however put a "sip:" or a "h323:" in front of the address you want to dial to use a specific protocol.
If you're consistently having to do this for a specific address, I'd recommend that you add it to the directory rather than having to have your users specify it on each occasion, and that way you can also give it a name that may easier for people to identify rather than a set of numbers (Ie "Fred's Office" rather than "h323:123.123.123.124").

Firstly, are you using a Touch10, or are you using a Remote? And what are you referring to as the "dialling method"? But in an attempt to answer your quesiton, if you are using a Touch10, you can go to the "... / More" button, and then click on Call rate, where you can swtich the call to an Audio only call (assuming that is what you were asking)?

Hi Wayne,
When the customer makes a new call from the remote control, depending on the version, the following happens:
From the CE version, the only way to indicate the protocol is from the GUI "Call Control", editing the call as shown below, it is right?
Summarizing, when we make a new call from the remote control with the CE software version , is it possible to select the protocol to use "H.323/SIP"? Or the only way is via GUI "Call Control"?
Thanks & Best Regards,
Juan Miguel Huertas Alegre
