DX80 & Telepresence DX80

Hello Community,

There are several DX80 end devices registered within my cluster. However, I run report and noticed that 3 of them registered as Telepresence DX80 and the rest DX80, so my questions;

-Are they physically different type of devices or just a feature difference?
-Can I have them registered with same firmware version? I see s52040ce8_3_4.pkg for Cisco TelePresence DX80 and sipdx80.10-2-5-194  for Cisco DX80 on Device Defaults Information

Hi, If the DX80 run on Android based firmware then the device in UCM shows as DX80. if the DX80 run on CE based then the device in UCM shows as Cisco Telepresence DX80. Phone load name DX80 (Android) - dxxxxxxxx.0-syn213B.rel.pkg Phone load name DX80 (CE) sipdx80.ce941.xxxxxx.loads you may need to remove these DX80s and registered as new by selecting device type as - 2Cisco Telepresence DX80" if you want to run on CE. you can refer below to convert android to CE and vice-versa; https://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/telepresence/endpoint/ce94/dx80-dx70-convert-between-ce-android-based-software-ce94.pdf Regards, Shalid
