DX80 as 2nd Monitor Without Network Connectivity

Good afternoon, I had been using my DX80 as a 2nd monitor with my machine without issue, however I don't currently have the ability to connect my DX80 to a network.  I can't figure out how to use the DX80 as a 2nd monitor without having network connectivity.  Is it possible?

If you connect it with a HDMI cable, it shouldn't matter whether the DX80 is on a network or not, you will still be able to use it to show what is being sent via the HDMI.
