Let me start by saying I'm new to VTC in every way, but somehow I was lucky enough to have this system land in my lap. I've learned quite a bit about it, and have most of my configurations under control. Currently I have about 25 endpoints (EX90, SX20, C40) running TC7.2.1 connecting to TMS version 14.0.0, although it appears it should 14.x as I don't even see 14.0 listed in the software.

I have it set up now so TMS pushes out the configuration template I built to the systems daily at 0300. I am not using provisioning. When I check the configuration template activity status, it shows the template was successful. It also runs an update 0200 daily from tmsservice with the description "Templates - Update systems with persistent settings only". It says that is successful as well, but shows that it didn't update any systems, as it shouldn't. I assumed that was causing the issue, which is why I set mine to run at 0300 to override those settings. If I run my template at anytime, it will update the systems with the correct settings. However, they seem to keep reverting back seemingly on their own. The main setting that changes is the Provisioning, External Manager, Protocol. I need it to be HTTPS, and that's what gets pushed to it. But it will revert back to HTTP. I attached the log file from a unit below. I'm thinking I'm just missing something, but any help would be much appreciated.

Also, not a huge issue, but just another thing I can't get working. I was trying to have TMS send out software updates to the units, but that didn't appear to work either. It was a little bit ago that I tried, so I don't recall the exact error or have any log files. Just wasn't sure if it was a common issue.

It's TMS that is changing it, I assume 10.3.1.212 is your TMS IP?

By default, I believe TMS will use HTTP to communicate to it's managed systems, you can force it to use HTTPS by setting "Secure-Only Device Communication" in Administrative Tools > Configuration > Network Settings.

If you upgrade to TMS 15, the default is HTTPS, however fallback to HTTP if it doesn't connect.

Thank you very much. I went in and made the change, and pushed the template back out. I will verify tomorrow that it stuck, but I'm pretty confident in that. I also changed the "URL Where Software Packages Can Be Downloaded" to HTTPS, so that quite possibly will fix the update issue as well.

Update*** Tried to update a system through system upgrade on TMS, and it showed 100% event successful on the System Upgrade Activity Status. However, the system never updated. I restarted the system as well, and it still did not upgrade.

I have CISCO 8865 VDO phone and other model of cisco ip phone as well and want to connect with my TMS its version is 15 , is it possible to connect these VDO phone to my TMS ??? and what is the procedure to connect with my TMS ??? further how to book conference in these VDO Phone ??? is it possible book conference ??? kindly help us
