Firstly, you can try the default password for the "admin" user, which is "TANDBERG".
If that doesn't help, you can reset the C40 from the Touch interface, the Web Interface, or using the Serial Interface.

If you don't know the admin password, and cannot use any of those methods, then you will need to do the following process:
The process to factory reset via the serial com port:
- Connect a serial cable to the system at 38400, 8, N, 1
- Reboot the system
- Log in with the user "factoryreset". This user is only available a short period of time after reboot (in TC6 it is always available). When logging in with this user it is possible to do an xCommand SystemUnit FactoryReset Confirm: Yes
- Do a reboot: "XCommand boot"
- The system is now factory reset.
