Cisco has advised that when a Cisco MTR device, registered with Microsoft Admin Centre, is also registered to Cisco WebEx Control Hub, it gets the benefit of a true WebEx meeting experience whilst still on MTR mode. This statement has some firewall implication because normally MTR devices use direct guest join to enter a Cisco WebEx meetings via TCP 443(WebRTC). So do we need to open other ports for media, signalling and presentation, now that we are getting “a true WebEx meeting experience”? What is the technical difference between a “ Direct guest join WebEx meeting” and a “True WebEx meeting experience” that is triggered when our Cisco Room Bar is simultaneously registered to Cisco WebEx Hub and Microsoft Admin Centre?
