Hi,
is it possible if you have the packing slip of a ex90, c40 etc. to find the device in tms (and its location)?
Unfortunately the packing slip informs about a serial or pak number, but not about the hw serial number of the codec for example.
Any ideas?

Mounir

Hi You cannot locate the device in TMS using the packet slip You need something that is endpoint specific like IP, MAC, Serial number or unit name. There are many values you can search for but not the pak number.
You can go to systems (systems overview) that will list all the endpoints in a flat list, you might be able to find it like that.

Hi Magnus,
thank you very much for your response.
on my packing slip is a serial number (starting with FCZ1XXXXXXXX) listed.
But I'm not able to find this number on a product (e. g. mac adress, hw serial number codec, serial number touchpad, ...)
Is this somehow possilble (match serial number on packing slip to *something* on a c40)?
Greetings,
Mounir

Hi Mounir,
Typically Serial Numbers starting with FCZ**** are the the integrator package serial number which consists of the all the things like Codec, Camera, Cables, etc.
And in TMS, only your Cisco Codec is integrated with its own Serial Number which starts with A1AA****. So, you need to look out for Codec's Serial Number and then search it in TMS.
Let me know in case you need any other help.
Thanks,
Saurabh

For devices that came as part of a package (such as an integrator pack), then there is both a "System SN" for all the components in the package, and the "Hardware SN" which will be your endpoint's serial number.
If you only have the "Hardware SN" (FTT*) want to find the "System SN" (FCZ*) serial number (or vice versa), you can use the licencing portal to look it up.
