Get notified when a phone unregisters

What is the best way to get a notification when a phone unregisters on call manager. We are using version 8.

The closest option I'm aware of is the NumberOfRegisteredPhonesDropped alert; however, this is only generated when a percentage of phones unregister. You can use syslog traps; or, configure an alert for this through RTMT.

Or You could use any normal and free snmp monitoring software, for example, Cacti. We are monitoring there registered phone count, if anything changes we have an alert.
