Hi all

(1) Pls I need someone to explain port forwarding i.e. forwarding a udp port to a specific host .Can Natting be used?

(2)Secondly what is SIP NAT traversal? What is the effect of turning it off?

(3)I have natting configured on my router if I issue the following command ,will it affect the preconfigured natting ?the commands are

no ip nat service sip tcp port 5060

no ip nat service sip udp port 5060

(5) Which command can use in natting to forward

Forward UDP Port 5060-5082 to 192.168.1.4

Forward UDP Port 10000 to 20000 to 192.168.1.4

I use Cisco 1700 series router

I am using the above port for VoIP solution in asterisk .
