I'm currently exploring integration options with the Spark Boards. It looks like the Spark Room Systems now have the in-room control support with CE9.0 to bring them inline with what's available on the SX80/20's, however no mention of this for the Spark Boards. Is there any similar functionality available on these units?
Also, the tech docs are super light on - is there any API's on the device itself (i.e. to monitor call state, wake events etc)?

Support for In-Room Controls with Spark registered room endpoints was released in March 2017. However, the Spark Board doesn't support In-Room Controls, since it doesn't require the use of a Touch 10, and I don't see that feature being added unless they incorporated into the OSD of the Spark Board itself.
Regarding the API, you can take a look at Advanced Settings for Room Devices, this is for Spark registered room endpoints, but it's worth taking a look to see if there is a similar "Integrator" role for the Spark Board which will grant access to the API.

Thanks for the info. So no ability to augment the Spark Board OSD (at least in current firmware). That clears up part 1 of my query.
The presence of that integrator role (and accompanying API) on the Spark Boards is the other burning question. I've followed up with the local Cisco rep (and will post back with results). If anyone else can chime in it'd be great to get a definitive answer as I don't currently have access to a device to test against.

Quick follow up here for anyone else needing info.
At the time of writing this this functionality is not available in any public release, but Cisco appear to have opened up a beta which provides this: https://ambassador.ciscospark.com/xapi-beta-application/.
I've signed up a couple of days ago, but have not yet been able to get any information.
