Internal dns SRV records for Expressway-Core

Hello guys, 

Migration video endpoints from VCS E&C to CUCM with ExpresswayC&E.

A little bit confused if I need to create SRV records in internal DNS for the Expressway - Core cluster.

the official document says yes; however, I don't understand what is the purpose of them in the new deployment?

Can someone clarify?

The SRV records are used for MRA service discovery. Jabber will first search for the internal record for service discovery then to the public DNS record if not on net.
I suppose if you are not using MRA then they are not necessary.

Yes, but I did not mean MRA, this is for B2B calls.

Ok, I still don't see a need for the internal SRV.
