Using a vendor, I purchased a a release key and licenses however when i input these release key and licenses I get an error displaying saying that the release key is invalid however the VCS does ask for a restart after applying the new release key. Nothing happens when input a license except an error displaying that the license is invalid as well. Any suggestions on why this is occurring? My VCS is version x8.10. I verified the version with a Cisco representative and its correct. Thanks!

Hi,
Do check for the serial number which has been mapped with License Key.
You can also get in touch with licensing@cisco.com along with Serial number of Expressway to re-issue the correct Release Key .

Yes I have, and I've told my TAC support engineer and 2 licensing engineers what the correct VM serial number was and they continue to tell me that all is correct and that the release key and option keys are all correct. Any suggestions on who to contact next? or who I might want to get a hold of? Thank you.

Aman,
CNS reached out to me and figured out that the license keys I received were not the appropriate for my device (VCS) Cisco licensing had to regenerate new licenses (and release key). Thank you!
