Hi,
After swapping the normal hybrid camera cable on P40 with CAB-HDMI-PHD12XS on both ends, we lost the camera control on touch 10. Picture itself on camera is showing, only controlling of it is missing.
Is there a limitation on Cat cable length or do i need to get CAB-PHD4XS2-SPLIT to the other end?
Also what Cat cable can i use, does it has to be shielded?
We get tho error message "Camera not detected"
We have SX20 codec in use.

If you're using the cable that came with the SX20 (custom connector on one end, and a male RJ and make HDMI on the other), then you can just extend it with a standard straight through Cat6 cable and a RJ cable joiner.
If you're using a pair of the 4XS2-SPLIT cables, then you need to cross pins 3 and 6.
