MCU selfview

Hi,

I have a MCU 4501 and i would like to configure inside of layout a selfview, it means if I set up an avaliable layout to six participants in one of them  should be locatel a self view picture, can this be done ?

Hi There

The setting i think you are looking for is under Setting > Conferences > Advanced Settings.

Untick "Don"t see yourself in small panes"

This is a global setting and will apply to all conferences.

Hope this is what you looking for.

An other option is to tell the remote site do enable their local selfview on the endpoint if

they are so keen on seeing themselves.

Our experiance was that people were not really happy with seing the MCU selfview.

You will alwas notice some lag which confuses people even more.
