MSE 8000 (or 8050) OS

Good morning. I'm trying to find out the OS that the Cisco MSE 8000 uses, or more specifically what the supervisor blade uses. I haven't been able to find it in any of the whitepapers on the site.

Any help you can provide would be greatly apreciated. Thank you.

From what I remember its a hardened BSD.

Anyhow you only get a serial command line which is Codian/Tandberg/Cisco based.

You do not get any additional operating system access.

So just see it as a locked down appliance.

Why do you need to know it?
