Hi all,

I'm about to setup a MX700 telepresence endpoint with no provisionning system... meanning that all setup have to be done mannually and locally so here is my question:

What do I need to make my MX700 to be called by external visionconference system ?

Public or private IP address, SIP and H323 setup, DNS configuration etc...

Thx in advance

If you do a search for "SX20 Standalone" you will find many discussions which provide information on how to configure this sort of device (the MX700 is basically the same configuration wise) as a standalone H.323 endpoint.

This discussion is usually the one that people point to: SX20 as standalone

In addition to Wayne's comment, if you deploy the endpoint using a public IP address, recommend you put it behind your organization's firewall and restrict all incoming traffic to specific IPs you want to conference with. If you do not, the endpoint will be scanned by external systems hosted on the internet, and you'll start to begin to receive toll-fraud calls.

Thanks for the advice.
