MXP - Multisite call, disable selfview?

Hi all,

Want to check if it's possible to disable the selfview during a multisite call?

Problem:

CST with MXP EP system connects to 2 other systems, MXP system uses its own built in MS function. Defaults to a 4-split layout, where it shows EP 1 in frame 1/4, EP 2 in frame 2/4 and then shows its own selfview in window frame 3/4.

But CST doesn't want to see his own selfview, so wondering if it is possible to disable this?

Workaround would be to use a external MCU where you disable selfview /

"Don't see yourself in small panes".

Any tips on how to do this?

At least when need continuous presence the workaounds would be to ignore the selfview,

use a c-series multisite or a modern mcu.

An other option could be so change the multisite layout to voice switched, then only the last

active speaker should be shown (do not remember what happens if the user speaks up on mxp

if it still shows a remote or would also swich to fullscreen selfview), anyhow, it might be worth giving a test.

Hi Johan,

I do not know what type of MXP codec you are using? but when using a dual display system with Multisite, from F8 it was introduced possibility to improve the 3 party layout during a MultiSite conference in that when the host of the MultiSite takes the floor the far-end sites will still be displayed on individual monitors. Previously the MultiSite host would display a 4split (CP4 layout) on the first monitor and selfview on the second monitor, with no dual I believe the work around is to enable the presentation on the DVI2, you should have a look of the MXP and virtual monitor API functionality which allow you to show remote site for each monitor and also four sites in side by side on two monitor.

I Hope this help?
