We will soon be forced to move from the C series codecs (end of life notification) to SX and/or MX series integrator codecs however, it appears Cisco has removed the IR remote capability from both the SX and MX series.
Does Cisco have a workaround to this oversight?

Cisco stopped providing remote controls for the newer systems in favor of the Touch 10, the only SX codecs that are capable of coming with a remote are the SX10 and SX20, all others must rely on the Touch 10 for user control.
