Questions concerning Phonebooks in TMS
I have a question about the phonebooks in TMS, specificly the order of how numbers are being showed.
I have a couple of phonebooks configurated where a conference set has got an ISDN number, an E.164 alias and an IP number.
Because of cost savings, I want to have the E.164 alias as standard to be used, and when this does not work that the ISDN number can be used.
When I look on one of are endpoint, I see that ISDN is the standard.
I can scroll down to View Dailing Methods and then I can select the E.164 alias but this is very difficult for the normal user.
Is there a possibility to have the E.164 alias as standard ?
thanks in advanced.

Have you considered manual phonebooks with 2 listings (E164 and ISDN) for each entry?

Hi yes we did, but unfortunatly this did not resolve the problem.
do you might have any other suggestions ?

Aside from engaging TAC and/or getting a feature request submitted, no other good suggestions, unfortunately.
I don't believe that TMS currently has logic built into it where you can have it present various dialing methods in a preferential sequence.
