Hello everyone, I am preparing to set up a meeting room using a CS-KITPLPTZ4K-K9 kit and an additional CS-CAM-PTZ4K camera. And I want to ask how to connect them in 1 room to be able to control both cameras. Can it be controlled independently? I have searched for documents but could not find them. Can someone help me? Thank you everyone.

You need to connect the Quad Cam to Camera HDMI Input 1 and the PTZ4K camera to HDMI Input 2. You will then need to connect an ethernet cable from the camera control port to a small external ethernet switch, then connect both the Quad Cam and PTZ4K to this. This allows the Codec Plus to have ethernet control over both cameras.

Thank you for answering my question. Can I ask if the connection is like that, the control panel will automatically see the 2 cameras and can be controlled separately? And on the camera, do I have to adjust the ID for these 2 cameras separately?

On the camera control screen, it will give you the option to switch between which camera you want to control. Select the one you want, then you can PTZ that camera. Select the other one if you want to control that one.
The codec will automatically give the cameras separate IDs, but you can also force it to show a certain camera as camera 1 or camera 2 (or whatever name you want to give them) by assigning each camera ID to the specific serial number for the camera you want. This is all done in the Web Interface on the codec, you don't need to change anything on the cameras themselves.

Thank you very much. I will apply the knowledge you taught me to the conference room I am about to install. By the way, can you tell me where I can find technical documentation on the conference industry. Because I searched on Cisco website but only got basic physical setup.

Hello. By the way, can you tell me how to register so that my account can access the control hub? Thank you.

Hello.
Can you help me solve the following 2 problems?
1: I have deployed 1 CS-KITPLPTZ4K-K9 + 1 CS-CAM-PTZ4K, a total of 2 cameras. When I connect them through a switch, the system runs and can control 2 cameras normally, but when I turn off the system and restart it, the 2 cameras freeze and can no longer control the PTZ. And I have to turn it off and restart it 2,3 times to get the PTZ to work. And this phenomenon happens frequently. Do you know how to solve it??
2: I want to ask if the CS-KITPLPTZ4K-K9 has a remote control option? (Like the remote control of a TV). Because in many cases, I want to use the remote control to turn off the microphone during the meeting so that I can discuss privately. Because the control device and touch screen are at the end of the room and there is no technician, it is very inconvenient to turn it off. I want to ask if you have any simple and economical solution??
