Receiving error message when trying to add a Polycom to TMS

All,

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. We are having problems adding a Polycom VSX 7000e to TMS. We are receiving an error message:

"description:Connect failed, base exception:Error Connecting to host XXX.XX.XX.234"

Does anyone know what could be the problem? We recently upgraded to version 12.6.2 on TMS, and the Polycom has software version

Hi Matthew,

Please set the SNMP community name to public in the polycom VSX 7000e and In the TMS connection tab please set S NMP get community name to public.

Please also check the securtiy settings in the Polycom VSX7000 tab whether the Enable Remote Access  for SNMP is enabled.

Are you able to downlaod MIB file in the SNMP tab?

Please reboot the system after the changes are made in the Polycom VSX7000 then try to add the endpoint in the TMS.

If still you are unable to add the system to TMS try to reboot the Polycom  system 2- 3 times and try to add it.

If the Polycom has a password on it, then you will need to upgrade TMS to v13.0 to be able to add the codec properly.  Check the release notes, should be something in there about it.
