Hi!

Anybody can point me to the compatibility matrix of RMT and Room KITs? Or there is some another remote control that i don't know yet.

The Room Kit series isn't designed to be controlled with an old fashioned Remote Control, it's best used with a Touch controller.

There is the ability to perform some functions using a USB remote (or keyboard), but it's not complete control as you would get from a Touch.

Have a look at Support for 3rd Party USB input Devices

Does that mean these remotes will not work with the nearly identical room kit mini?  The CTS-RMT-TRC6= that comes with the Room USB, that looks just like the Mini but without the touchpanel...

Given there is an upgrade process to turn a "Room USB" in to a "Room Mini" by adding a licence key and a Touch panel, I'd say, it noy not work, and most certainly wouldn't be a supported option.  I believe both of these are also about to be end of sale in November 2022, being replaced with the newer Webex Room Bar (which also comes with a Touch panel interface).  Is there any reason you specifically need to use a remote control and not a modern interface?

So I would assume that when the Room USB has the optional upgrade to turn it into a Mini, that must disable the IR eye inside the device and hide any possible options for this inside the settings. I have engaged several Cisco employees and really haven't gotten a square answer. So I assume no one really knows. If you must know I am installing 40 room kit minis as room usb units and not installing the touch panel as it would only add confusion. Its only purpose would be to adjust the volume, which a simple remote would be able to do.
