Remove stand from Spark Room 55

Hello,

I have just built three Spark Room 55 units for testing and now need to remove them from their stands for shipment to install locations.

I am unable to remove the screen from the floor base as shown on 18 of the install guide.

Is there some special technique for this? - I have pulled the lock to the point that I feel it is in danger of breaking and also pulled down on the stand without success.

Any suggestions welcome.

Managed to do it.

Three people - two lifting screen whilst the third pulls the lock mechanism whilst placing a foot on the stand and then gives the bottom of the screen a tap and it came undone.

More difficult than it should be but I guess the fixture needs to be solid and the operation would only happen a couple of times in a unit's lifetime if ever.

Hi I had this problem too.

The useful thing that we used to solve this problem was a credit card! You have to introduce the credit card until the lock gets released and it's done!!
