SIP端末のスタンドアロン構成について

SX20などのCisco会議端末をSIPモードで動作させる場合、CUCMやExp-Cといった呼制御サーバは必須なのでしょうか。

これまでの認識としては、SIPサーバが必要だと思っていたのですが、ラボ環境で確認すると、

呼制御サーバ無しで動作しています。

スタンドアロン構成が御社のサポート構成かどうか、また制限事項などあれば教えてください。

SX20 can work without being registered to a call control server such as CUCM or VCS/Expressway, but you won't be able to dial someone using alias@domain. If you search the forums, there are some threads that cover the configuration needed and how to make calls using a standalone SIP endpoint, for example sx10-call-type-scenario. 

Another option is to use H323 instead of SIP, see sx20-standalone.

I've understood the above.Just in case,let me check that SIP mode SX20 working without call control server will be supported by cisco TAC?

I’m concerned about Cisco TAC support.

Standalone endpoints are not officially supported by Cisco, but you might get some support from TAC, though they may require you to register it to a call control server.
