Hi, i have noticed that in TC4.1+, TE4.0+ i am unable to list the phonebooks on the device trough ssh.

Here is what i get:

<ssh admin@device-ip>

xcommand Phonebook Search  PhonebookType: Local

*r Result (status=Error):

    Reason: User not authorized

    XPath: /Phonebook/Search

xCommand Phonebook Search

    PhonebookId: <S: 0, 255>

    PhonebookType: <Corporate/Local>

    SearchString: <S: 0, 255>

    SearchField: <Name/Number>

    Offset: <0..65534>

    FolderId: <S: 0, 255>

    Limit: <0..65534>

    Recursive: <False/True>

** end

ERROR

</ssh admin@device-ip>

Is there a way to list phonebooks in the new software versions, it says User not authorizxed does that meen i need to login as another user??

Hello,

I have tested this on TC4.2/TC5 (hopefully released Friday) and TE4.1 and it works for me.  I seem to remember we had a bug on this but I cant find it at the moment but I would recommend trying TC4.2.2 or TE4.1 and you should get some results.

On my E20 which has no local entries I get:

xcommand Phonebook Search  PhonebookType: Local

OK

*r ResultSet ResultInfo TotalRows: 0

** end

On my EX60 (TC5 - but 4.2 tested as well):

xcommand Phonebook Search  PhonebookType: Local

*r ResultSet ResultInfo TotalRows: 1

*r ResultSet Contact 1 Name: "Escalations Meeting"

*r ResultSet Contact 1 ContactId: "localContactId-1"

*r ResultSet Contact 1 ShowInBuddyList: ""

*r ResultSet Contact 1 SpeedDialNumber: ""

*r ResultSet Contact 1 ContactMethod 1 ContactMethodId: "1234"

*r ResultSet Contact 1 ContactMethod 1 Number: "xyzabc@cisco.com"

*r ResultSet Contact 1 ContactMethod 1 Device: Video

** end

Thanks

John
