The place where y connects the Notebook is far from the SX10, so what we want to do is connect the Notebook and the SX10 with
The problem is that when we do it, the SX10 always shows up a message that says “unsupported resolution”. We tried changing the resolutions of the Notebook, but it always shows up the same message.

Hi Justin,
Thanks for your quick reply.
I'm using this HDMI-VGA Converter:

Also, for the UTP wiring I'm using an extensor:

Currently, I’m not using the extensor just the converter.
Thanks

Pablo,
So just using the converter works?
Looking at the specs it appears the extender might be enforcing HDCP permanently on the output side and Cisco video endpoints do not support HDCP signals.
Thanks,
Justin

Justin,
I tried connecting directly to the HDMI-VGA converter.
But the problem persists.
Thanks,
Pablo.

Pablo, usa proximity, tengo varios equipos SX y en todos el problema esta. Si tenes un 2a1 o algo asi, no detecta la resolucion. Es como medio duro con el tema.
