SX20 's language setting cannot save after reboot the device.

Hi everyone,

Did someone encountered below issue before?

I have one SX 20 with TC7.1.4 software,when i change the default language to the other one,it will works,but after it's reboot,the device automatic restore the language to the default one . I tried the factory reset,but it's not work.

Can anyone help me ? thanks in advance!

How did you deploy the device (CUCM, VCS, TMS, ...)?

Did you try to reboot the device without the network being attached to it?

I wonder if CUCM or TMS reset your language, did you check the settings / templates there?

Which languages are you talking about? Did you try to upgrade it to TC7.3?

Thanks for your reply !

we have two SX20 (with same version )on hand,and both of them were register with CUCM(10.5.1 version) directly ,one works fine,but another one will fail (change the default language to Chinese simplified will success,but after reboot the SX20, the on-screen language restore to the English again ),the configuration of them are almost the same (do the super copy in CUCM when add the device)

I will try the method you are mentioned ,and will let you know if i find the result, thanks.

Dear Martin,

I just check the setting in CUCM, and tried to change the user locale to Chinese simplified ,after reboot the SX20 again,it works well!!  the CUCM pass the configuration to SX20 and reset the language.
