SX20 to MCU4520 H.239 at H.264/1080p - Howto

According to Datasheets of MCU and Endpoint both systems are able to do presentations at 1080p at H.264. But all tests resulted at 720p and H.263+.

Can you recommend a setting to do 1080p with H.239?

Thanks

Juergen

Question in the other direction

* whats the call rate set on the endpoint and the max bandwodth on the mcu, any link/pipes limiting?

* how much bandwidth was used per call leg, check on the mcu (I would try it with >1.5mbit)

* which and how many other endpoints were present? (just 3 SX20s?)

* what is the resolution used on the presenting source?

* what the content settings on the conference you use? (I would use hybrid, automatic (or you can sure try lock it to  h.264), enabled, all resolutions and no minimum)

Hi Martin,

its not about "Minimum outgoing bitrate" - its about Content mode, this must be set to "Passthrough".

After that SX20 sends H.239 at FullHD/H.264/30fps to MCU.

It seems that the MCU45xx series is unable to support FullHD in Hybird or Transcoded mode - is that true?

(Maybe some of the Cisco guys can clarify that).

Best regards
