Solved: SX80 Camera Input from Switcher

Hello,

I'm trying to see if there is a way to send different sources using the SX80 camera input.

I have my input sources going into a video switcher, and need to output those sources selected sources "Program" through the Camera Input on the codec.

When I do this, all I get is black form the Codec send and can never see the selected source.

Is there something I'm missing?

You will need to make sure that the output from your switcher is sending something that is compliant with what the input on the SX80 will accept.

You also need to make sure that it isn't marked with HDCP being required - if the codec detects HDCP content, it will correctly disable the input as HDCP protected content should not be transmitted.
