im not trying to beat a dead horse, i have googled, and tried several things.
it seems once the codec is registered via the 16 digit code local web access is blocked until retstored through the webex control hub.
i aquired a sx80, fr it, loaded newest software, setup free webex account to link to, linked just fine, can do a test call, but when i went to log into the local interface i cannot figure out a combination that works. upon research one thread said if registered via cloud the only way to regain access to the local admin page is adjusting the settings through the control hub, if this is accurate i'm locked out because under the free account i dont have access to those resources. i can't login to that portal
is there a user/pass that works in this scenario or am i just hose on accessing configuration through local web access?

If you do the registration through the webUI all the local users on the device will be disabled. You’d need to do the registration from the SSH CLI as outlined in this article and make sure that you use the SecurityAction option NoAction. Register a device to Cisco Webex using API or local web interface
This should keep the local users enabled so that you can access the webUI.

@michel74 This process suggested by @Roger Kallberg is what you need.
Step 1: Factory Reset your device
Step 2: Create your local admin account via the web interface
Step 3: Use the API or CLI to start the registration process
xCommand Webex Registration Start SecurityAction: NoAction
Step 4: Put in your 16 digit ActivationCode (either manually, or as a parameter to the above registration command)
The device should then be registered to Webex, and you should be able to access the local webUI using the credentials you added in Step 2.
Note: you also need to keep in mind that the SX80 is an End-of-Support device, and will start being decommissioned from Webex on 1 June 2025.

let figure out the issue:
1- after FR without any registration, you access normally to the device.
2- after the cloud registration, you can access to web GUi only through the webex control hub.
those are only available options we have.

Hi @michel74 ,
When the SX80 codec is registered to Webex via the 16-digit code, local web access is typically locked down for security reasons. Access to local settings then must be managed through the Webex Control Hub.
Unfortunately, with a free Webex account, you won’t have the permissions needed to change these settings or regain local web access. There isn’t a default user/password that bypasses this restriction once registered.
If you need full local access, you might consider unregistering the device from the Webex cloud or using a Webex account with proper admin privileges.
Hope this clarifies the situation!
