Tand Berg edge 95 MXP Camera problem

Hi all

i have problem with camera in Tand Berg edge 95 MXP it give me black screen and some times give me bad focus image still i have adjustment it manually  . i can control the camera up,down, right,left but when i press zoom its not working

it was work good and suddenly this happend

how can i fixed it ? or if i buy security camera how i can  connected it to codec and make it work like original one

Hi,

You can try to use different camera cable if available.  Most probably camera is bad.

If you have contract with Cisco, you can get it replaced by opening a TAC case with them.

the only HD camera that will work with an MXP is the same model you have now. The MXP line didn't really have the processing power to encode 720p video on it's own, so Tandberg designed that camera that somewhat shared the load when it comes to processing the video. If you have a valid service contract you should be able to RMA it, but I'm guessing you don't or you wouldn't have posted here. 

If you want to use a third party camera you can do so but it will not be HD, you can only use a 4:3 SD camera

Given the MXP95 devices are fast approaching their end of support date (31 May 2018), you may wish to consider replacing that old hardware with something that is supportable going forwards.
