Tandberg SX20 and Polycom HDX 8000 compatibility issue

Hello,

recently I installed Tandberg SX20 Codec successfully.

Camera works good and Calling other site's EX90 is good.

but, When I called to Polycom HDX 8000 has problem.

received packet is perfect. there is no packet loss

but, transportation packet is problem. up to 25% packet loss is shown in system status windows.

and Tx resolution is fixed 512x288@30fps.

I don't know why this problem is occured.

QoS was setup by 5Mbps, so I think there is no problem with bandwidth.

Is there any compatibility issue? Polycom HDX 8000's software version is 2.0.3.2 and Tandberg SX20's software version is TC6.0.1-SX.

if anyone who has similar or same issue is, please tell me about how solved this issue.

this is an older version try upgrading the HDX to V 3.0.5

Rest we need to investigate by Log analysis

Hi Lee,

There is no known issue for SX20 and Polycom HDX .

Please make sure you have set the proper QoS mapping on the routers as well as on the Video Endpoint Devices particularly on these Endpoints

Also make sure that DSCP values are marked correct on the router giving good weightage to the video and voice packets.

If Still issue persists, let me know.

Polycom HDX 8000 that I have tested is hardware ver.A.
So I couldn't upgrade higher than ver. 2.5.
I think low software version is most biggest cause.
Because The other Polycom HDX 8000 version B works well.

after issue had occured, I changed to EX90 and proceed test.

of course, same problem is happened.

as you know, default call protocol is H.323, It's so complex.

so, I concentrated at H.323 protocol and changed EX90's options.

after change to SIP protocol. quality of call to Polycom HDX 8000 was upgraded.

resolution could display HD 720P and packet loss was down. and I can see natural motion(there little bit jitter is).

but, critical issue occured. Calling HDX 8000 to EX90 is well, but calling EX90 to HDX 8000 is fail(HDX 8000 no response).

anyway now resolution is raised and packet loss problem is lower than before.

but, I didn't solve the problem. It's temporary things.

so I add EX90's log below.

1. using H.323 protocol
