TCU T3 questions

Dear All

I brought new TCU(version 1.0) for T3  instead of the old one (faulty), my Questions as following below :

- All i need just put ip address on TCU then it will work ?

- Do i need to upgrade it to version 4.X , is it not necessary to upgrade it ?

- From where can i get the image for TCU ?

- How the TCU will connect or synchronize with codecs (left , right , center) ?

Hi Yazen,

You'll have most probably to downgrade the "new" TCU as your T3 is on a very old version. Luckily, the old Tandberg FTP is still online, so go there and download the appropriate version: http://ftp.tandberg.com/pub/software/total_telepresence/

Then, follow those instructions to install the new software: http://www-tss.cisco.com/eservice/est-unified/Tandberg/T3T1Profile65Dual/remedial/T3/tasks/Restore_T3_TCU_Info_USB.html

Alternatively, you can choose to upgrade the C90 firmware instead to match the TCU sw version installed on the new TCU. But you first need to contact Cisco for that as you must have the release keys for the 3 codecs.
