TelePresence Conductor With TMS

Hi,

We have a deployment like this:

TMS

VCS

MSE 8510

Endpoints-135

we are planning to add on one more MCU in our infra in some different country ( country A) to host all local calls happening in same region to maintain call qualtiy and balance out load on MSE. We use TMS to schedule calls and don’t have point to point to call.  I can see two requirement as of now:

1. Call Scheduled for endpoints in country A should be hosted on MCU placed in country A , calls for Endpoints in counrty B should hosted on MCU placed in country B

2. We need CDR report end of the month

Do we need to take Telepresence Conductor too in to our infra ?

Any suggestion.

Thanks

Rishu

You can use IP Zones to bias MCU selection for endpoints.  Create two zones, and if the call has more endpoints from Zone 1 than 2, tms will prefer the MCU in zone 1.  Scheduling may use zone 2's MCU if needed still, etc.

CDR is a per device question, but there are CDR records in TMS for the 8510

You don't need the conductor to deliver your specific application questions, but it has other values.
