Just curious if there is a server hardening guide when Telepresence management suite 13.1 is running on a windows 2008 server 64bit. I found the following which details it for a Win2003 server.
is there an update to this guide or will this work for my installation? The server team is asking for some sort of docuementation.
Thanks in advance,
Cyril

Almost a year later for a reply, but nonetheless I came across this document this evening whilst searching for TMS security info:

Hi,
That document is targeted towards the CTS/CUCM/non-tandberg solution. I don't think it is neither useful nor accurate in a TMS perspective.

Kjetil,
Thank you for your feedback. This document does indeed serve as a more general Telepresence hardening guide. Sincerest apologies for any confusion. Since youi're contributing to the discussion, can you post a more accurate and useful link or document specific to TMS hardening?
Thanks in advance,
Greg.

Hi Greg,
Sorry that I was a bit brief in my earlier response, but that's how it is when I'm typing on a phone while on the train.
This is currently no published document on TMS hardening. We are looking into writing a chapter on security for the TMS 14.x admin guide, and this chapter will include instructions on hardening the OS (we'll target Windows Server 2008 R2). It cannot be expected anytime soon though; it is probably at least six months away.
Feel free to suggest specific topics you would like to see in the security chapter.
Regards,
Kjetil
