TMS 14.2.1 - file based phone book, no contacts showing in phonebook

Hi all,

i need some help...

I have a file based phonebook, which is just an Export of a Manual phonebook...

in the manage phone book source pages, i set it up, i click on view contatact tab, and there they all in all their glory

i then create a NEW phone book called "Exported" and a connect this phone book source, and it connects i then

while in the manage phone books pages, click on the view contacts tab, and there are NO contacts

its either a major bug, or me!

a note, im currently using tms as trial, as im trying to learn TMS on my own

Hi

Does the phonebook contacts have any contact methods? I not then you have to add this in order for the contacts to be displayed in the pb. Also check the phonebook source activity status.. Any errors?

yes, these all have contact methods

like i said, while in manage phone book sources, i can see the contacts

when in manage phone book, i dont

i created the file from an EXPORT of some manually entered contacts that work fine

0 ERRORS, every thing says 100% event sucessfull

you can try it youself... make like 3-4 MANUALLY entered contacts, give them each 1 contact method

then export that to a CSV file...

then import them into a new pb source

then try to connect that to a new phonebook

see if it works
