TMS Booking - Is there anyway to define a conference ID when using an MCU?

Hello,

I am looking to see if any environment out there currently has this as a need.

When booking a conference, we want to have the ability to define what the alias will be on the MCU, instead of TMS automatically assigning the conference alias out of the resource pool (defined on the MCU > Extended Settings). The automatically assigned aliases works for the majority of the calls, except when it comes to trying to define a permenant conference alias that will always be used for a speicific conference.

The only way I know to do this will be through setting a permenant conference on the MCU. This works, but I would like the ability to inform my users to use TMS in this regard.

Anyone run into this as an issue? If so, were you able to find a work around?

Darren

Not that I am aware of.

You could have a static room and either let the particiants manually dial up the room,

have a manual supervised job to add the participants to that room (via tms-ccc or mcu)

Or maybe write your own script accessing the mcu api.

If no one else has a better answer, you might want to think of a feature request, I would +1 on that one.

Also thinkt he auto generated number range for the mcus is far away from optimal, ...

also a randomization over these numbers could be handy, ...
