TMS Authentication Error:

Migrating TMS 14.2.1 from Server2003 to 2013:

I have successfully copied the tms and tmspe DB to the new server and installed TMS 14.2.1, but I get a TMS Authentication Error with I try to install TMSPE 1.1 or 1.0

The user I am using is a local Site admin on the New Server (Same user used on the 2003 server)

I have tried downgrading Java to 6u34 and others but always the same issue.

I get this on occasion when I'm upgrading TMS and TMSPE at the same time.  If you haven't restarted the server since you installed TMS, before you install TMSPE, give it a try.

Also, what version of Windows are you installing TMS on, you said 2013, do you mean 2012?

TMS 14.2 is only supported on Windows 2003 R2 and 2008 R2.  If you install it on anything newer than that you might run into issues, can't say what, just know it's not a supported version of Windows to be installed on.  The first version of TMS to support 2012 (not R2) is 14.4, while 14.6 supports both 2012 and 2012 R2.  Here is the link to the install guides for reference.

Yes, I meant 2012.  Thanks for the suggestion, I will try upgrading the current TMS to 14.6 on the 2003 box before migrating to the 2012.
